Remee Wire & Cable announces the appointment of Marc Stringer to the company’s Engineering team as Engineering Product Manager.
Marc has a very deep experience base in the wire and cable industry with over 30 years of exclusive service in this field. He has worked in product management, marketing, engineering and related positions throughout his career at companies such as General Cable, Belden, Southwire/Tappan/Coleman, Champlain Cable and TE Wire & Cable.
Often working with specialized cable applications in specific markets at these companies, Marc has built a comprehensive product knowledge base which spans the gamut of cable products:
- Fire alarm, access control and other security cable
- Audio/video cable for broadcast and pro-audio
- Audio cable for sound systems
- Industrial cable for machine, factory and power applications
- Thermocouple cable for temperature measurement and control
- Building wire, such as Type MC
As Remee’s new Engineering Product Manager, Marc will provide daily support to Steve Luciana, Remee’s Engineering Group Manager. He will also provide support to the Sales team. His responsibilities will include spec writing, the development of cable spec sheets, cable design and other product engineering initiatives. Marc will help the company expand its focus on fiber optic and composite cable constructions.
