Remee LAN & Premise Cables are available:

- In 2 to 25 pair counts (all with varying color jackets)
- Armored or bundled
- Available in UTP (unshielded), STP (shielded), Fiber Optic Cable and Coaxial Cable types.

Power over Ethernet Cable (PoE)
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that lets network cables carry electrical power. For example, a digital security camera normally requires two connections to be made when it is installed:
1. A network connection, in order to be able to communicate with video
recording and display equipment.
2. A power connection, to deliver the electrical power the camera needs to
operate.
However, if the camera is PoE enabled, only the network connection needs to be made, as it will receive electrical power from the Power over ethernet cable.
The PoE concept is being re-imagined to align data and power for the future of the building. “New power solutions being introduced today enable high-power options with traditional low-voltage labor and safety. One such option is intelligent power, which parallels the distance and space savings of optical fiber, reducing runs of copper cabling and enabling Power over Ethernet cable for today’s applications as well as those in the not-too-distant future. Newer PoE standards are being established to enable 55 and 90 to 100 watt transport, which is expected to open up many new applications. Contact Remee to determine the best PoE cable construction for your next project.
